Gustavito Percussion Drum kit

The best thing is that Guszty can make any drums for you, whatever you want. There is no size he can't make. I had two complete Gustavito drums, both of them made of birch. One of them had very special size, the other one was rather traditional. Both of them are nice and clear instrument and  can be  easily tuned due to the thick shell. The second kit was varnished by Guszty as he has improved his method a lot, the polishing is almost high-tech category!

I had the chance to try the kits in the studio as well on the records of Attila László, Gábor Presser, Erika Marozsán, Béla Zsoldos, the Kaltenecker Trio and the Cumo Electric Dreams. They worked perfectly well.

If Guszty ever uses maple wood I will surely ask him make a drum. Up till today I still have two snares made by him, and which I regularly use on concerts and in the studio. Another important thing is that if any damage happens to a Guszty-instrument it can be repaired and if by accident the 10”tam falls out of the bus on the top of the Gellért Mountain I can always have him make another one. Most of all I recommend the Gustavito drums because they can be ordered in any size. I find it very important to have the possibility to test different sizes, which is quite difficult to do with famous foreign brands. On the other hand if I don't like a 10x10” tam then by using up its equipments it can be updated for a 10x8”.
So, bring it on ! :)
